Based on the successful application of the applying the electrolysers industrially, WFE was invited by the Bulgarian Hydrogen Society to fulfil an order for adding oxyhydrogen to a forced draught burner using Methane in 2018.
The manufacturer of the burner was Riello and the development of the systems required for this was difficult as the developer of the burner rejected to collaborate with us, and so did their representatives who perform maintenance.
Their opinion on the matter was that it is impossible to add oxyhydrogen to methane. WFE carried out research on the functionality of the burner for a number of months and created a tailor-made electronic control unit which integrated the work of the electrolyser with that of the burner. Following eight months of operation, the opinion of the producer and their representatives has been disproved, as there is a 20% improvement.
