Water Fuel Engineering specialises in autonomous electrolysers focused on optimising the combustion process of internal combustion engines. Our product, HydroGen, is designed to reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption of contemporary vehicles at the pre-combustion stage by implementing oxy-hydrogen gas as a fuel additive.

HydroGen was installed first implemented with agricultural vehicles as part of the Farming for A Better Climate initiative funded by the Scottish Government in 2017. The project is monitored by Scotland's Rural College and demonstrates fuel savings of 13.5% and an emissions reduction of 80%

• Passenger Vehicles

HydroGen can be customised to meet the requirements of any engine, including passenger vehicles. The product can be installed in the boot, under the hood, next to the spare wheel and behind or under the seats. HydroGen is the ideal way for individuals to reduce their personal impact on the environment.

• Public Transport Vehicles

HydroGen can be used with public tranport busses. In 2018, Our team participated in Transport-Technology Research Innovation for International Develpment, a project funded by the UK Department For International Development. The project involved retrofitting HydroGen to reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption of public transport busses, and demonstrated an emissions reduction of 74%. The project shows that HydroGen can work for extended time periods in extremely humid and dusty conditions, and that our technology can be used with older vehicles as well as new ones.

• Trucks, Vans & Utility Vehicles

HydroGen can be used with trucks and utility vehicles. In 2017, the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs launched the Air Quality Grant Scheme. We were chosen by committee after a rigorous selection process to retrofit HydroGen to utility of vehicles owned by Cornwall Council, including road sweepers, tippers, vans and lorry mounted cranes. The emissions reduction was consistent between vehicles and the project demonstrates how HydroGen performs consistently on a variety of vans, trucks and utility vehicles carrying out different tasks.
