Water Fuel Engineering is a cutting-edge research and development company that is revolutionising the way we think about energy and health. Our alkaline electrolysers split distilled water into its fundamental components, hydrogen (H) and oxygen (O), releasing a powerful gaseous mixture known as oxy-hydrogen (HHO).

Established in 2013 in London, Water Fuel Engineering focuses on reducing exhaust emissions of existing vehicles. Oxy-hydrogen, also known as Hydroxy or Brown's gas in combustion research, improves the combustion process of internal combustion engines, resulting in a significant reduction in emissions and an increase in fuel efficiency.

Our product has been proven to improve the combustion process of internal combustion engines, leading to a reduction in emissions and an increase in fuel efficiency.

We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible with our products and are continuously exploring new ways to apply it. From improving air quality in public transportation to improving efficiency of farming equipment, the potential for our product is wide reaching.

Water Fuel Engineering specialises in hydrogen hybridisation technology that produces hydrogen on-board vehicles from distilled water. This technology is based on the process of electrolysis, which uses an electric current to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. The combined gas mixture can then be used as an additive to any vehicle.

One of the key advantages of this technology is that it is a cost-effective solution for producing hydrogen. Unlike traditional methods of hydrogen production, which rely on natural gas or other fossil fuels, this technology uses only water and electricity as inputs. This means that the cost of using hydrogen fuel is significantly lower, making it more affordable for consumers.

Our technology can produce hydrogen on board the vehicles, proving a short-term solution through retrofitting on existing vehicles. Hydrogen can be produced on-demand, as and when it's needed.

Another advantage of this technology is that it is a sustainable solution for using hydrogen. Unlike traditional methods of hydrogen production, which can have a significant environmental impact, this technology uses only water and electricity from the vehicle as inputs, which means that it does not contribute to air pollution or greenhouse gas emissions.

  • Our technology is also a safe solution for producing hydrogen, as it eliminates the need to transport and store hydrogen fuel under pressure and in large quantities. This reduces the risk of accidents and leaks, which can be a concern with traditional methods of hydrogen production.
  • Increased Flexibility: On-board hydrogen production allows for the flexibility of producing hydrogen at the point of use, rather than relying on a centralised production facility. This can be especially useful in remote or rural areas where a centralised facility may not be feasible in the short to medium term.
  • Improved Safety: On-board hydrogen production reduces the need to transport hydrogen over long distances, reducing the risk of accidents and spills associated with transport.
  • Increased Independence: On-board hydrogen production reduces the need to travel to a network of pipelines and refuelling stations.
  • Increased efficiency: On-board hydrogen production can be more efficient than traditional methods, as it eliminates the need to transport hydrogen fuel over long distances and reduces energy losses.
  • Cost Effective Solution: Affordable hybridisation that improves fuel efficiency, reduces emissions, and extends vehicle range without engine modifications or impact on payload.
